Jenny was rescued after living most of her life with a rescuer who had gotten in way over her head. Jenny was left to roam around on desert property without much love or attention. She came to us with a severely injured hind leg that had to be amputated by our vets.
Despite the fact that Jenny has 3 legs, Jenny gets around fine and follows around her foster parents inside the house. She craves attention, and will do anything to please you. She is easygoing with cats and dogs as well. Will you be the one for her?

Stewie Stew. He is our 2-3 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund prince who is looking for his forever home. He is OK around other dogs and people, although he loves to protect his favorite person. He is so sweet and enjoys posing for photo shoots. Stewie was rescued from a high-kill shelter and would do well in a home with mature adults, no small kids please as he would like your undivided attention. Stewie is potty-trained and loves to snuggle up on your lap.

Lily is very timid and loving. She was most likely used as a breeder– we had rescued Lily and her 3 puppies from her owners who were “moving.” Unfortunately, Lily’s puppies never made it as they were malnourished.
After a couple months into foster care, Lily has thrived tremendously. She has put on some weight and is now awaiting for a forever home. She loves to be held like a baby and enjoys playing in the yard. Lily can be shy at first and will tremble out of fear whenever she hears loud noises. She gets along perfect with other dogs her size and wags her tail whenever she sees cats! Her endearing personality and loving eyes will melt just about anyone’s heart!

Shay is a lovebug looking for a place to call home. Originally from Texas, she was surrendered to our organization by her owner who could no longer care for her financially. Shay is very sweet and sociable– she loves playing with other doggies and would do anything to please humans. Shay is very fun-loving, however, she has a bit of food-aggression when it comes down to sharing her rawhide and wet food with friends. She would do best in a home with mature adults who have the time, love, and resources to commit to this baby!

Capone is one sweet-loving powerhouse. He was once owned by a young kid who raised him outside of his balcony ever since he was a baby. When his father saw that Capone was growing into a large breed dog, he wanted the dog out. It was arranged for Capone to be used as a guard dog at an auto shop. The owners were also thinking of taking Capone to a shelter as a back-up plan.
When the owners got desperate, they decided to send Capone to a high-kill shelter. We intervened and rescued Capone before his time was up. Now, Capone is waiting for his very own family to adopt him.
Capone is great with adults and kids, and enjoys giving kisses. Capone loves to run in a spacious yard. He would benefit from obedience training since he was always tied up outside in his previous “home” and hardly given much attention. Capone barks at other dogs, but had never shown signs of aggression. Capone is very active and has a clean bill of health.

Mr. Magoo is our 8-year old, blind Pit Bull who was rescued from a high-kill shelter just in time. He was found wandering in the streets and was on deathrow at the shelter. He is blind in both eyes as a result of cataracts, but he gets around very well. He is extremely affectionate and loving; he will give you so many kisses! Mr. Magoo would do best in a home with mature adults and no other doggies. He is looking for a lucky person/family to lavish with attention. Will it be you?
Fuzzy Rescue is currently raising funds to treat Mr. Magoo’s cataracts; there is a great chance that he may be able to see again! Mr. Magoo was featured on Good Day LA on FOX 11, and news anchor Jillian Barberie has even offered a donation towards his eye surgery! Check it out: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Dxyj-Mtj6AY

Lilly. So sweet and loving. She is so playful, and great with other dogs and children. Lilly will make a terrific family companion. She is our 2-3 year old baby who was recently rescued from death-row at a high-kill animal shelter. Too many dogs being bred, and too little space for these precious babies at the shelters.
She was dumped at the pound for no reason– her “owners” simply were irresponsible and callous, and had lost interest in her. She had given birth at the shelter to a couple adorable puppies, and was also used to help wean other orphaned puppies. Once her babies and other puppies found homes, she was scheduled for euthanasia.
Our kind rescuer went to the shelter and happened to come across Lilly, who desperately waited with pleading eyes for an angel to get her out of jail. The minute her cage door opened, Lady crawled into our rescuer’s lap, and greeted her– licking her face to give doggy-kisses. She wagged her tail and was so excited. Lilly was immediately bailed out, and was spayed.
A couple weeks after being rescued, her foster mom/rescuer discovered that she was bleeding whenever she urinated. Lilly was taken to the vet and we were told that she had a “stump” in her uterus, that had to be removed. Lilly’s rescuer gathered all the money she had to save her once again– a vet bill that amounted to more than $1,000.
Update (4/1/2006): Sadly, Lilly passed the Rainbow Bridge today. She suffered from kidney failure that could not be treated and her health was deteriorating. Lilly’s foster mom has spent thousands of dollars to do multiple ultrasounds, x-rays, etc. at various vet hospitals, including a necropsy to find out exactly what had gone wrong in her uterus which caused blockage in the kidneys. We are desperately raising money to repay the debt to the vets. Please consider donating to Lilly’s Fund.

We have 5 puppies who are predominantly Labrador Retriever; these puppies are about 8-10 weeks old. They came to us as little orphans, and we have no background information on their parents. All 5 puppies are super cute and they each need a loving, permanent home. They are sociable and playful, and they are working on their potty-training.
