Cassie has a very sad story to tell– she was shoved into a cardboard box and left to die a slow and painful death in a parking lot. Her fur was matted and cut here and there with scissors, and she was in a mess with scratches on her belly. A couple store managers discovered her (we are speculating that she was in the box for more than 2 days as she was dehydrated and starved). Fuzzy Rescue took in Cassie, gave her a flea bath, provided her with warmth and food, and made a promise to her that she will soon find a loving, permanent home.

Cassie is very timid and will want to hide under the beds. But once she accepts you and gains her trust back in humans, she will blossom like a flower. Cassie likes to be held and can sit on your lap for long hours. We are looking to place Cassie in a home with mature adults, with no small kids.
