Tucker - ADOPTED!
January 25th, 2006
Age: 16-20 weeks
Sex: Male
Breed: Dutch Shepherd Mix
Size: Large
Tucker certainly has a lucky story to share– He was tied onto a black rope and thrown onto the cement ground by a lady who did not want him. The lady left this tiny baby on the floor and took off! He was rescued by one of our volunteers during an adoption event, and was brought to Fuzzy Rescue.
Tucker is very sweet and playful. He loves chasing after your feet and already knows how to play fetch. Our vets are telling us that Tucker is a Dutch Shepherd-mix and he is very agile with long legs. Tucker has the brindle coloring and face resemblance of a Dutch Shepherd, but he has ears that fold over. Tucker has a nub little tail– some vets think the tail was docked whereas other vets believe he was born without one. Tucker is so precious and he will need to go to a loving, permanent home. He loves to be cuddled like a baby since he was practically hand-raised when he came into our care.
Tucker is now about 16-20 weeks old, and he may or may not be a special needs case doggy. He had a few seizures when he was 8-weeks old, but has never had any since we treated him for roundworms (VERY common in all puppies). Roundworms can cause a pup to get anemic, potentially leading to seizures. We have never witnessed any seizures in Tucker to this day, but the vet cannot guarantee that he will never have one again.
