Ringo
January 25th, 2006
Age: 6-7 months
Sex: Male
Breed: Boxer X
Size: Large
Ringo was rescued from a shelter where he was in danger of being euthanised because of his skin problem. His skin was raw from demodectic mange and his immune system had been severely compromised. He had also developed a slight form of arthritis in his right hind leg as result of mange. Ringo was in terrible health, but he never lost sight of his strong will and determination to survive.
Now, Ringo no longer has his mange and has put on some weight. He is healthy although he still has a limp hind leg. Our vets are saying there is a 50/50 chance that he will overcome his arthritis as he grows older, but there are no guarantees. Regardless of the outcome of his hind leg, we are confident that Ringo will make any family very happy. He is such a trooper. He is friendly with humans and animals alike; he will give you doggy kisses and he enjoys playing and basking under the sun. Ringo wags his tail even while resting in his crate. Oh! And Ringo will snore and snore when he takes his beauty nap. Anyone out there willing to pamper this little lover dog?
